Hello again friends,
As we near the holidays, many of us are spending more time with family. For some, this may be a stressful time. Old grudges can resurface and we might find ourselves regressing to childlike habits.
But I’m happy to tell you, things don’t have to be this way! Relationships are always able to change. We have the ability to shift any dynamic by accepting responsibility for ourselves and our contributions.
The first step is to bring awareness to what we’re saying and how we’re communicating. Over time, try to shift this toward positivity. Maybe give the other person a compliment or try to be less critical and more forgiving. Release grudges and infuse your dialogue with compassion.
Although a drastic change in relationships takes time, if we make a habit of this practice, we’ll begin to notice subtle shifts in our relationships with family members!
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season,
