Often times, families challenge and trigger things within us, particularly around the holidays. When these pain points arise, greet them as the perfect opportunity for further self-awareness, healing, and growth.
One way we can begin to do this is to remember that everyone is doing the best that they can in each moment. By acknowledging each individual’s struggles and assuming the best of them, it’s easier for us to act from a place of understanding and compassion.
